The latest forecast – issued by the on-site meteorologist on Saturday afternoon – includes ’rounds of moderate to heavy rain through the morning’ before waves of moderate to heavy rain will ‘train across the area’. The rain probability ranges from 70 per cent to 90 per cent from the early hours of morning until mid-afternoon, with around an inch of rain possible between Saturday and Sunday evening.
